April 2 – Day 963

Joyce had a weekend. Joyce continues to do her exercise and she had a very good weekend. Unfortunately the agency I have called me Friday morning and basically said we quit. So now I have to start all over again and try to staff the hours that I need. Through her program I thought a agency would be more helpful but I am now going to hire people myself and they will be paid through the program. Her night were good with no issues to report last night had a little coughing spell so don’t know how much sleep she got last night but she was wide awake this morning when the caregiver arrived.

March 30 – Day 960

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises but then slept most of the day. My night caregiver had to come in because my afternoon caregiver called out sick. Joyce slept until bedtime and she slept well though the night I gave her some Tussin again if her congestion doesn’t clear up I will have to take her to the doctor. Had a little episode for myself today came home not feeling well chest was thumping hands were shaky but it calmed down by 8. Have to have a contingency for scenarios like this so if something happens we have a backup plan.

March 29 – Day 959

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did good today the afternoon caregivers said she had a little trouble transferring Joyce because she was not assisting. The night caregiver said she was fine and no issues. Joyce could of been a little tired but she was very alert the rest of night and slept well all through the night without any issues.

March 28 – Day 958

Joyce had a great day. Joyce was a little sluggish in the morning but when I got home she was very alert, awake and smiling and really engaging with everything around her. It was a great day compared to the day before. Exercises were done and she had a good night with no issues she slept well.

March 27 – Day 957

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was not herself today caregivers said she seemed to be feeling a little blue today and I told Joyce everybody has those kind of days so it is fine. They tried to do what exercises they could but she did not want to participate much so they restricted any standing exercise for safety reasons.. her night was good and she had no issues to report.

March 26 – Day 956

Joyce had a great weekend. She did her exercise had the caregivers come in over the weekend to cover her CAP hours. Everything is going good with the new caregiver and Joyce has adjusted to her. Joyce was tired Sunday and slept quite a bit during the day. Her nights were good and she slept with issues through the night.

March 24 – Day 954

Joyce had a great day. Exercises were done today just was tired so she would wake up and the caregivers would do the exercises and then she would go back to sleep. Had a lot of errands today so the caregivers helped out greatly today. She slept well all throught the night and the night caregiver is fitting in Joyce is responding well to her and she is doing a good job with minimal supervison.

Joyce had a great day. Exercises were done today by the morning caregiver. Joyce had a appointment in the afternnon for her routine change of her feeding tube we were in and out in 15 minutes. They had a hard time getting hold of the agency caregiver so she did not come and finish out the shift. The nightime caregiver was on her own and she did great without any input from me so she is a welcome addition. Joyce slept well all through th night with no issues.

Joyce had a great day. Exercises were done today by both caregivers. Her night caregiver had her first night she did very well.Tomorrow I will have her do the entire evening by herself and I will just observe to correct any issues. Joyce slept well all through the night without any issues to report at this time.

March 20 – Day 950

Joyce had a great day. Exercises were done passive today as Joyce was really tired and sleopt most of the day.Her couhging was minimal today and she had a little episode around midnight but went back to sleep after that and slept the rest of the night peacefully. Joyce’s new cargiver will train tommorow for the nightime shift.
