May 14 – Day 1004

Joyce had a good weekend. Joyce still works on her exercises daily. We went to church on Sunday and Joyce was alert the whole time but that little time out really affected her allergies. Her eyes were bloodshot the rest of the day and she was constantly coughing up all day long. Justina and Nick went with us to church and Justina gave Joyce her Mothers Day present at the house. With all that was going on Joyce slept well and did not have any issues the rest of the night.

May 11 – Day 1001

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she had to go see her primary care doctor. So he can send doctors notes to the company that supplies Joyce her suction machine supplies. Waited an hour to get in and was in there 5 minutes it figures. Joyce had a little more coughing before she went to bed. When she fell asleep she was good the whole night there was a little episode but it didn’t last a few seconds and she went back to sleep.

May 10 – Day 1000

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she had a very good day she took little naps. But for the most part she was up all day and we watched some TV last night. Her night started out good she was asleep at 11. But starting about 1AM she started having some coughing episodes that last quite a while. Joyce wasn’t coughing up anything just had a tickle and a lot of coughing.

May 9 – Day 999

Joyce had a great day. We had a new caregiver train today and I interviewed one also. They didn’t bring Joyce’s stand up lift they had issues with the battery pack so it looks like Thursday. Joyce had a good evening and night with no issues to report.

May 8 – Day 998

Joyce had a great day. We had a good day even though the day was filled with thinking about Michelle. When I got home I lit her candle and brought home a rose form the wreath. Joyce did well with her exercises and I interviewed some good caregivers that will work out fine. Joyce had a good night with no issues and slept through the whole night.

May 7 – Day 997

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce was very alert and when Justina came they watched a movie and talked. Joyce had a little congestion on Sunday night so i gave her some Tussin. They called about Joyce’s stand up lift and they will be delivering it next week which will open up more caregivers assisting in lifting her. Her Nights were good and she had no issues to report.

May 4 – Day 994

Joyce had a great day. Continue to do her exercises and Joyce was very alert all the way until about a half an hour before bed. She had a little coughing but nothing that was continuous. Her night was good and she had no issues all night to report. Joyce opened her eyes for minute when I feed her at 11 but went right back to sleep.

May 3 – Day 994

Joyce had a great day. Continue to do her exercises she was awake all day and was very alert. Her caregiver said she was very good today just a lot coughing throughout the day. Her night was great she had no issue and slept all through the night with no issues or problems.

May 2 – Day 993

Joyce had a great day. Continue to do her exercises. Had really good interview last night looks like we should have our other caregivers in place soon. Joyce had a good night without any issue even though she slept all afternoon. Doctor wrote wrong order for standup lift so we have to go back Monday so he document the right equipment.

May 1 – Day 992

Joyce had a great day. Continue to do her exercises. Interviewed a new caregiver last night she seemed very promising. Joyce slept all day because she had a very restless night the day before. So hopefully she will get enough rest to be function during the day. Have 2 more caregivers coming to night so we will see how they are. Joyce did sleep very peaceful tonight with very minimal coughing.
