April 126 – Day 3053
Joyce had a good day. Joyce was good with her stats today. They changed her trach to a cuffed one its better if they have to use the ambag to get the mucus out. Joyce will need the trach collar thats gives humdity. She had a good day no issues was smiling we will see how she does tonight.

April 25 – Day 3052
Joyce had a good day. Joyce was good with her stats today. She is on the ventalitor but the therapist said its her doing all the work the ventaltor is just for support. She has phenumonia again but the CT scan was clear of her lungs. She is stable for now so we will see how she does throught the night.

April 24 – Day 3051
Joyce had a eventful day. Joyce was good with her stats all day yesterday and part of today. Then she needed suctioning because her oxygen levels were dropping. Then then had to raise her oxygen intake. They moved her back to the 3rd floor where she should of been in the 1st place. She is very stable now so we will see how she does through the night.

April 23 – Day 3050
Joyce had a good day. They moved Joyce to a room right across from the nurses station so they can keep a good eye on her with her trach. She did well to day she was very tired and slept most of the day. The home health company called and they are coming to do an assessment Monday which is good and closer to Joyce going home. Her discharge planner said we are moving forward and that was good news.

April 22 – Day 3049
Joyce had a good day. When Justina got there this morning Joyce was leaned over. Justina went to the lobby and said I need help here they just looked at her like a deer in the headlights.When I got there I talked to the doctor asnd patient advocate on how we want things done. They are looking now to move her right next to the nurses stastion because she has a trach. After that we were there all day and Joyce was very happy then. Her discharge planner will see this to discharge even though she is on another floor.
April 21 – Day 3048
Joyce had a good day. She got transfered to the fifth floor because they needed the bed in the ICU which I wasnt crazy about because I would rather have her on the 3rd floor the step down unit from the ICU. Joyce did good the rest of the day and she had a good suctioning before I left from the respitory specialist. Shoulder is the same see the doctor Wednesday.

April 20 – Day 3047
Joyce had a good day. She did sleep but mostly up when I was leaving. They removed the PICC line because she had it too many days and she would be going home soon. They had to suction about 4 times today her oxygen levels dropped but she was not gasping for air. My rash is doing better after the medication.

April 19 – Day 3046
Joyce had a good day. She slept most of the day but when she opened her eyes she had the biggest smile on it. They changed out her trach to a cuffless one. Other than that was a very gentle day for Joyce and I.

April 18 – Day 3045
Joyce had a good day. Nothing new to report today in the way of her health although her oxygen level dropped after her breathing treatment which loosen some up and they had to suction a whole and it happenned right nurse changeover it figures. Loooks like Wedsnesday next week. With new equipment company and new home health company. I have startedmy exercises at home lot of pain.

April 17 – Day 3044
Joyce had a good day. Nothing new to report todasy. Joyce had a good day we are still waiting finalization for her discharge. I had physical therapy today for the first time just a bunch of paperwork and exercises I should be doing daily.
