May 2 – Day 1338

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and had a couple more items to correct with the new caregiver once she gets familiar with the routine she should be good. The caregiver took her outside and Joyce really liked it. She slept most of the day after that until bedtime. Her doctor called in another prescription for congestion other than giving her Tussin. Joyce had a good night and did not have any issues.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

May 1 – Day 1338

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises but had to explain once again her bathroom schedule because she did get the procedure. Joyce slept a lot today which I expected form her being up the last two days. She slept well through the night without any issues. Interviewing a new caregiver tonight she sounds very promising but we have heard that before LOL.

April 30 – Day 1337

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and her day caregiver had some issues so I made her a list of things to correct. Joyce was up all day even though she did not sleep much the night before I don’t think she had more than a couple of hours sleep as I was up with her. But she slept well through the night she was very tired. Interviewing another caregiver maybe I can have her on a PRN basis. If someone is sick or if someone goes on vacation.

April 29 – Day 1336

Joyce had a great weekend. She did all of her exercises and her caregiver had her first full day by herself Friday and she did very good not to many corrections. Joyce slept most of the day Saturday and Sunday she was up most of the day and was very active. Sunday night Joyce had a lot of coughing I was up most of the night with her. She was constantly taking her covers off so I had to get up and put her covers on her so she wouldn’t get cold. So don’t know how much sleep she actually got last night.

April 26 – Day 1333

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and the new caregiver performed her first day with the regular morning caregiver there for instruction and she did fine she had no problems at all during the day. Joyce was up all day because both ladies were talking and Joyce just loved listening to them. Joyce had a good night she went right to sleep and slept through the night.

April 24 – Day 1331

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and the new day caregiver started her training and she adapted well to the routine and Joyce really likes her which is important. After the training Joyce was tired and she slept the most of the day. At night she was coughing more and it settled down when she went to bed. She slept the rest of the night without any issues.

April 23 – Day 1330

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises but then she slept most of the daytime shift. Her nighttime caregiver watched some TV with her but she was coughing alot till bedtime. She was very tired caregiver had a little difficulty keeping her head up. Once she was in bed she slept through the night.

April 22 – Day 1329

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce did all of her exercises. Joyce had a very good weekend with all of her caregivers Joyce is talking more to them. Her weekend caregiver had her taking steps and Joyce wanted to brush her teeth and she did well. Joyce had a little coughing Sunday evening but we gave her some Tussin and she slept soundly through the night. She was up all day Saturday with her caregiver and she slept most of the day on Sunday.

April 19 – Day 1326

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises. Joyce had another great day with her caregiver and she slept most of the day until the night caregiver arrived. Then she slept through he evening and woke up around 7 and watched some TV with her caregiver. Her night was good didn’t have any issue but she threw her blankets off during the night. I told her she shouldn’t do that because she would get cold and she just looks and smiles.

April 18 – Day 1325

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises. Joyce did very well with her night caregiver they walked around the living and she said Joyce did very well. Interviewed another caregiver she wasn’t bad and had her transfer and I think she will get better once she does it more and gets familiar. Joyce slept good had a few coughing episodes but nothing that kept her awake.
