May 16 – Day 1351

Joyce had a day. Joyce did all of her exercises and her hairdresser came today and colored and cut her hair and it turned out great. The nighttime caregiver noticed her left eye was a little red could of been some shampoo got in her eye will monitor very closely to make sure it is no infection. Her night was good and she had no issue all through the night.

May 15 – Day 1350

Joyce had a day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she did some cooking with her caregiver they made some chocolate deserts Joyce had a good time. Then she slept most of the day after that and a little into the evening. Joyce was coughing a lot in the evening had 2 good days without coughing. She slept well with just a few episodes of coughing through the night.

May 14 – Day 1349

Joyce had a day. Joyce did all of her exercises an she spent some time walking the neighborhood and sitting on the deck but I told the caregiver we have to be careful because the weather is getting hot. Joyce is fair skinned and we don’t want her to get sunburned. Her night was good didn’t need any Tussin her coughing is almost non existent.

May 13 – Day 1348

Joyce had a weekend. Joyce did all of her exercises and Stephanie came to visit so they could go dress shopping for Justina bridal gown. Joyce did very well she loved watching Justina try on her dresses. When we asked Joyce which one she liked she like all of them. Her coughing has been very good and we haven’t given her any Tussin. She is sleeping very well without any issues.

May 10 – Day 1345

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and was glad to see her caregiver Morgan she has a good bond with Joyce. Joyce was up most of the day and had a little coughing before bedtime but once she was in bed she slept well all through the night without any issues.

May 9 – Day 1344

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and we did some training with a possible caregiver she did very well and her transfers need a little work. She was very alert throughout the morning and watched some TV. Her night was good a little coughing at midnight but she slept well through the night.

May 8 – Day 1343

Joyce had a gentle day. She did her exercises. Joyce slept most of the day she was feeling a little sad today. Today I was there for Joyce and she was here for me. Joyce did not have any coughing today so it was a good day. Joyce slept well also with no coughing episodes.

May 7 – Day 1343

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises. Joyce slept most of the day this time of the year is very stressful on our family. Went to the chiro and that went very well for Joyce and when we got home Justina stayed with Joyce so I could do some errands. Joyce was up during the evening and we watched her favorite shows. Joyce slept well and she did not have any issues a few coughs but nothing of concern.

May 6 – Day 1342

Joyce had a good weekend. She did her exercises. Joyce slept all day Saturday but Sunday she was alert and responded well with her caregiver. Her coughing was minimal and she slept well without any issues all through the night. Joyce sad she was sad and she wants to sleep when she feels that way still dealing with grief that never ends.

May 3 – Day 1339

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and went to her speech appointment but all they wanted to do is take measurements for the mount for her speech computer. So I didn’t need to take Joyce all I had to do is bring her wheel chair it would have been nice if they would of told me that. Joyce coughing was a lot yes today and had a little more at night but it calmed down and she slept well through the night.
