June 26 – Day 1387

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and her chest cold seems to be getting better. She slept a lot today Joyce is resting to get back to full strength. Joyce at night is doing well she is sleeping very good and not have breaks in her sleep.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

June 24 – Day 1385

Joyce had a good weekend even though she developed a lot of chest congestion. Joyce did all of her exercises and we had to take her to the doctor on Saturday for medicine and Sunday to get some tests done. Saturday was pretty rough for Joyce coughing a lot and running a fever. Sunday her fever broke and she slept most of the day she was so exhausted from the fever and constantly coughing. My original nighttime caregiver came back to work part time and fill in when necessary which is good Joyce really liked seeing her again.

June 21 – Day 1382

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and we went to get her feeding replaced that we do every 3 months. Joyce did very well and not much coughing but late at night she started coughing really bad. I got up at 1AM because she had a bad coughing episode. She went to sleep after that and at 6 AM was coughing again I told the caregiver to give her the cough medicine to see how it goes.

June 20 – Day 1381

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and I had to be with Joyce the day caregiver had personal business to take care of. The nighttime caregiver overslept so it was a great day all together only because I was with Joyce all day. She was up most of the day and took very short naps. She had a bad coughing episode about 3PM and she threw up everywhere but I got her taken care and she was fine after that don’t if it was upset stomach or just a bad cough.

June 18 – Day 1380

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and the night caregiver had her first day and she did very well she should work out okay. The weekend caregiver has quit no notice no nothing which was very unprofessional. So now i will need to find a new weekend lady so hopefully it will work out. Might be pretty tough to find someone for the weekend and in the summer but we will find out. Joyce is sleeping well through the night.

June 17 – Day 1379

Joyce had a good weekend. Joyce did all of her exercises but her weekend caregiver was sick so i only could do so many errands so Joyce and I got in the car and we had a great time she enjoyed getting out of the house. While she was home she slept she was very tired. We have this new medicine for her congestion so we will see how it works. Joyce slept well through the night without any issues.

June 13 – Day 1374

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises but she slept all day on the caregiver and until bedtime. Interviewed a new nighttime caregiver today and was impressed with her I think she may work out good for us. Joyce slept well through the night with only minimal coughing.

June 12 – Day 1373

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and we went to Joyce’s appointment so they can update her medication and get some equipment for her bed. Waited longer in the waiting room then in the appointment go figure. When we got back Joyce was tired and took a nap until bedtime. Joyce slept well through the night without any issues except for a little coughing.

June 10 – Day 1372

Joyce had a good weekend. Joyce did all of her exercises and after she slept most of the day on both days. My nighttime caregiver will not be able to return due to health concerns so I must find a night caregiver. My daytime person is staying until I get home from work. Joyce has been sleeping well through the night. Will have to address some issues with weekend caregiver just minor things.

June 7 – Day 1369

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and I did some interviews for a new night person in case my regular night person wont be able to return to work. Joyce did sleep through the evening and she slept well through the night without any issues.
