April 27 – Day 988

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and we went to her eval appointments. They decided outpatient physical therapy could not be justified and what we are doing at home is beneficial. They looked at her last visit and she did not improve from those measurement’s but she did not deteriorate which they said is good to keep what we are doing. Speech on the other hand will make an appointment to get her measured for communication device that they wanted to try after she got her new chair.

April 26 – Day 987

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was very tired again today. She slept all afternoon for the afternoon caregiver and right up until bedtime. But she slept all night and even at her 11 feeding she was asleep and she slept the whole night uninterrupted. She has her therapy and speech eval tomorrow to see if she will need outpatient on therapy or speech.

April 25 – Day 986
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was very tired today. She slept all afternoon for the afternoon caregiver and right up until bedtime. Also she was up at 11 and wide awake when I gave her water at 530. So we will see how she does tomorrow. So hopefully she slept between 11 and 5. She has days like this sometimes.

April 24 – Day 985

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was a little tired today. She stayed up most of the day with little naps here and there. Having anew girl come tomorrow for training. Getting the people I need to help with Joyce and the CAP program. Her night was great she slept all through the night and she wasn’t even awake for her 11 feeding so she had a solid night of sleep.

April 23 – Day 984

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce had a good weekend doing her exercise and had no significant issues to report. It was a relaxing weekend except she had a little congestion on Saturday night which I gave her some Tussin. Her nights have been good as she has had no issues and sleeping well through the night.

April 20 – Day 981

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercise with both caregivers. Joyce seemed to be very tired today and slept almost all day beside doing her exercises. Need to get her allergy medicine again. Her night was great with no issues she slept well. Will be interviewing more caregivers which is good will have a group to pick from.

April 19 – Day 980

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercise with both caregivers. Joyce was alert and awake all day not much coughing or congestion all through the night. Interviewed 2 caregivers last night they were very promising will finish the rest of the interviews this week. Joyce slept well all through the night with no issues.

April 17 – Day 978

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercise with both caregivers. Joyce was alert all day until bedtime. Nothing significant to report today. Her day and night had no issues and she slept well. Still waiting for her doctor to send notes for her equipment and supplies.

April 16 – Day 977

Joyce had a great weekend. Her exercises were done and Stephane and Justina came over and on Saturday we saw Beauty and the Beast and Joyce loved it. On Sunday we went to church but Joyce took a nap half way through. The girls were talking and we put Joyce in her chair and brought her into the kitchen she loved hearing them talk. Joyce had a very busy weekend and she slept well without any issues throughout the night.
