December 27 – Day 1219

Joyce had a great day but her night wasn’t so good. Joyce did all of her exercises and she had a very good day with no issues. But she started to cough a lot during the evening hours. When her caregiver started to put her to bed she had a lot of mucous and she threw up and we had to change her 3 times before she settled down. She started to sleep and about 3AM she had a coughing episode but she soon settled down.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

December 26 – Day 1218

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises through the weekend. The girls were here for x-mas and Joyce enjoyed them and all the doggies. Joyce did well opening her gifts it was great to have everybody in the house. We had food and opened gifts on x-mas eve because Justina had to work. We went to church on Christmas and everybody said merry Christmas to Joyce during communion she had a big smile on her face. Her nights were good with no issues except for last night where she had some coughing.

December 21 – Day 1213

Joyce had a great day. Joyce still doing her exercises. Went to the doctor for Joyce routine feeding tube replacement in and out in 15 minutes. When we came back Joyce was tired and slept but was up from about 6 till bedtime. Joyce had a good night with no issues and slept well.

December 20 – Day 1212

Joyce had a great day. Joyce still doing her exercise. Went to chiropractor today Joyce was very tired. Joyce slept all through the day and when I put her bed she was asleep soon as she got in the bed. She did not wake for her 11 feeding. Joyce slept through the night with no issues got needed rest from being up the other day.

December 19 – Day 1211

Joyce had a great day. Exercises still going well and Joyce and her caregiver built a gingerbread house for x-mas Joyce was very happy and involved today. She even helped bake some cookies she enjoys getting involved. Her night was good didn’t have much coughing at all and slept well through the night.

December 18 – Day 1210

Joyce had a day. Exercises still going well and her occupational therapist came today and she did very well showed caregiver how to stretch fingers more efficiently. Joyce had a lot of congestion during the evening but as soon as she went to bed she was good for the rest of the night with issues to report.

December 17 – Day 1209

Joyce had a weekend. Joyce is doing very well with her exercises. The new nighttime caregiver could not transfer Joyce but I have a new one coming in for an interview Monday so we will see how that goes. Joyce slept all day Saturday but was in and out and on Sunday she watched TV most of the day. Joyce slept well even though during the day she had a lot of congestion.

December 14 – Day 1206

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and OT came and her session was good. Will start new girl tonight for the night shift and see how she does. Joyce had a good night and Christy painted her fingernails for xmas she is very good with Joyce and has a lot in common with her. She slept well all through the night with no issues.

December 14 – Day 1205

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises later in the day because we went to the dr for her leg braces she wears at night so we are trying a new one for a couple of days> I feel that they need to mold the boot to fit her foot because the left foot by morning is off and twisted on her foot so we we see how this goes. Joyce had a good night with no issues and slept without waking during the night.

December 12 – Day 1204

Joyce had a great day. Joyce has been doing good with her exercises.PT came today and everything went fine. The new caregiver is doing well with her we have a few things we correct when they come up but they are minor. Joyce slept well till about 3 AM and she coughed so hard she threw up but I changed and cleaned her up and she went right back to bed with no issues and slept the rest of the night.
