January 23 – Day 1246

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises but still was a little tired and she was sleeping most of the day but her coughing has become less. I have ordered a new tray table for Joyce the one we have is about 3 years old and its not working correctly getting stuck when you try to raise it but we use it every day. She slept well through the night and did not have any issues.

January 22 – Day 1245

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises but as soon as she was finished she went right into a nap. Joyce is feeling better with the medication and I am feeling better also. Joyce slept well and did not have any issues throughout the night but maybe a occasional cough

January 21 – Day 1244

Joyce had a great weekend. She did most of her exercise I took her to the doctor and he is suspecting bronchitis so he has her on 2 medications and she seems to be doing much better. But when I was sitting in that waiting probably caught something because I got the flu that is going and that knocked the hell out of me fortunately had my caregivers to help. Just took me a long time to do her bath had to rest after every little while but we got it done. Joyce slept well and did not have any issues.

January 15 – Day 1238

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was very tired so after exercises she slept most of the weekend. She is really battling this cough and congestion but she seems to be getting better. If her coughing seems to get any worse this week I will have to take her to the doctor. She seems to be sleeping well and she has her bouts of coughing.

January 11 – Day 1234

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and I was home with her because her caregiver child was ill. Me and Justina took Joyce to her chiro appointment and that went well. Joyce was tired upon returning and she slept most of the day after that appointment. Joyce slept well through the night with just a few coughing episodes.

January 9 – Day 1232

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises and she was more awake and active than yesterday. Her coughing was not bad yesterday she seems to be getting better. Joyce slept well through the night she did not have any interruptions form coughing so it was a restful night for her.

January 8 – Day 1231

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises that could be done passively. Joyce slept most of the day after having broken sleep due to her congestion. Joyce is getting better with her coughing as we continue to give her Tussin. Hopefully she is not getting any chest congestion that can develop into something worse. Will stay on top of this and if it gets worse I will have to take her into the doctor.

January 7 – Day 1230

Joyce had a great day and weekend. She did all of her exercise sand the caregivers got to the house even though there was 65 inches of snow and it turned to ice. My weekend caregiver made it Saturday but she was to afraid to drive Sunday she started out but her car did a 180 accidents in front of her so you went back home. Joyce has got a congestion issue we are dealing with but for the most part she is sleeping well.

January 2 – Day 1225
Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises. Joyce is adjusting to her new caregiver and she is doing well. Joyce is using her new speech computer so we will evaluate it for 30 days and make a decision if we are going to keep it. Joyce has been sleeping pretty well without any issues.

December 28 – Day 1220

Joyce had a great day. She did all of her exercises. We went to Joyce’s speech appointment to get her new speech device which is called eye gaze. When she moves her head she can choose different things so we will try this and see if Joyce likes it. Joyce had a better day and night than the night before. We trained the new night time caregiver and she seems like she will do fine. Her night was good and she didn’t have any issues through the night.
