April 2 – Day 1309

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was so exhausted from the Sunday being up all day that she slept most of the day but when the night caregiver got her up for her bathroom visit she was wide awake and smiling ear to ear. Joyce slept well all through the night which was good for her with her allergies.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

April 1 – Day 1308

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was very happy to have Justina and nick come over for Easter and we all went to church together even our caregiver went. A great at church was when a girl went up to the altar and she was singing Joyce was listening and she had a smile from ear to ear she really enjoyed it. Sunday Joyce is coughing a lot with her allergies acting up. She stayed up all day Sunday her eyes were so bloodshot she just couldn’t relax and get some rest.

March 29 – Day 1305

Joyce had a great day and did all of her exercises. Joyce slept almost all day she was tired from the day before with her sister visiting. Joyce was coughing near the evening hours but the caregiver gave her some water and coughed up what was in her lungs will watch to make sure it doesn’t develop into a upper respiratory issue. Joyce slept well through the night and was sleeping when I gave her morning water when usually she is wide awake.

March 28 – Day 1304

Joyce had a great day and did all of her exercises. Joyce was up most of the day she maybe took a 30 minute nap but that was it. Joyce’s sister Darlene came to visit with her grandchild so it was a nice surprise for Joyce. Joyce slept well through the night she may of gotten hot during the night she had pulled her covers off.

March 27 – Day 1303

Joyce had a great day and did all of her exercises. Joyce was alert and had a good day with no issues. She was up till bedtime and a few coughing episodes but she cleared them by herself and we helped her the suction machine so that did not go down in her lungs. Her night was good she barely coughed all night and she got some good rest.

March 26 – Day 1302

Joyce had a great day and did all of her exercises. Joyce was very alert during the evening but still has a little cough so we gave her some Tussin for the cough. Her night was good she slept all through the night without any issues. Justina and Nick came buy to give some news to Joyce details will follow.

March 25 – Day 1301

Joyce had a weekend and did all of her exercises. She slept most of the weekend except when she had to do her exercises.Joyce’s weekend caregiver was moving this weekend so I had my night caregiver come in Saturday for a couple of hours so I could run errands and was me and Joyce on Sunday. Joyce slept well without any issues at night.

March 21 – Day 1297

Joyce had a good day and completed all of her exercises. Joyce slept most of the morning then we went to get her quarterly peg tube replacement it was a little chilly so we bundled Joyce up warm. When we got home Joyce slept most of the evening shift for the caregiver. Joyce had a little coughing before bedtime. But she slept well through the night without any issues.

March 20 – Day 1296

Joyce had a good day and completed all of her exercises. Joyce was up all day and she was very happy and smiling. The nighttime caregiver face timed with her husband who is deployed and she talked to him and Joyce was very engaging the caregiver said she really enjoyed it. Joyce had some coughing during the night but when she went to bed she slept well all through the night.

March 19 – Day 1295

Joyce had a good day and completed all of her exercises. Joyce was very alert today and was up all day. I am having the caregivers add a couple more session of range of motion on her arms, legs and neck so she doesn’t get tight muscles in those areas. Joyce was coughing through the day she had a little episode about 3 AM but we got it under control and her was cloth was the only thing she spit up on. After that she slept well the rest of the night.
