April 17 – Day 1324

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises. Joyce is having a good day with her caregivers talking more. The day caregiver played music in the morning during Joyce’s bath and a song that Joyce knew came on and she was singing the words the caregiver was surprised she knew the words. Joyce slept well through the night and did not have any issues and kept her blankets on.

April 16 – Day 1323

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises. Justina took Joyce to her chiro appointment. When they got back Joyce slept most of the morning. Her afternoon caregiver continuing progressing. She has Joyce being more vocal. Her and Joyce came to the garage and cheered me on while I did my workout Joyce had a good time. Joyce slept well but she must of threw her covers off during the night.

April 15 – Day 1322

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce’s weekend caregiver is back from vacation and Joyce was so happy to see her. She completed all of her exercises. She slept most of the day on Saturday. She had a another episode where she sat up in bed and told the caregiver she was going home and asked where all the girls where. After talking to her she finally settled down around midnight. I think she was thinking about a time when the girls were younger cause she was asking where Justina was since she is the youngest she was looking for her.

April 12 – Day 1319
Joyce had a great day. Joyce continues with her exercises. We went to Joyce’s eye doctor appointment which went great. When they asked to read the numbers in the book that are very faint she said the numbers as clear as day 73, 45, 7 and so on I was so proud of her it almost made me tear up that she did so great. When it came to the eye chart she said she could see them but she was already tired and did not mouth the letters but we can do it next time the doctor said.

April 11 – Day 1318

Joyce had a great day. Joyce continues with her exercises. Joyce is doing very well today she was up most of the day she was very alert. Did have much coughing today but we got her medicine and started the dose tonight. Joyce slept well and did not have any issues at all through the night.

April 10 – Day 1317

Joyce had a great day. Joyce continues with her exercises. We went to do her annual review for Medicaid. Joyce will need to get a couple shots but she is very healthy she had a little chest congestion but he prescribed an antibiotic for that. It took us 2 hours at the doctor office to get in and out which tried my patients. Joyce did good the rest of the night but she had some coughing but we gave her Tussin and she slept well had a coughing episode at midnight but after that she was good the rest of the night.

April 9 – Day 1316

Joyce had a great day. Joyce continues with her exercises. She was very alert today and the Jurassic park movies were on TV and Joyce was glued you really loves those movies. Joyce had a lot of coughing but it settled down when Joyce went to sleep and Joyce had a good night of rest.

April 8 – Day 1315

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce completed all of her exercises. Joyce has been talking to her caregivers a lot more she is really getting comfortable with them. Joyce has had a few coughing episodes but nothing to difficult. She slept well during the night and took sporadic naps during the day.

April 5 – Day 1312

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was very talkative again with her caregivers. Joyce did a lot of napping today she was very tired from te night before. Her coughing has seemed to settle down. She did not have any issues sleeping through the night.

April 4 – Day 1311

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she was very talkative again with her caregivers. Joyce took a few naps during the day and her caregiver took her outside for a walk around the neighborhood. She was coughing a little during bedtime but then at 2 AM she had a bad coughing episode and threw up everywhere but after I cleaned her up she settled down and slept till I gave her water in the morning.
