August 9 – Day 1428

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise with her day caregiver the night caregiver decided she couldn’t do the 4-12 shift because she has children so the search continues for a 4-12 caregiver and a weekend caregiver. have a girl coming Sunday for an interview. Joyce slept well through the night without any issues.

August 8 – Day 1427

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and her nighttime caregiver started her training she is doing very well just a little shaky with transfers which we will work on. Joyce was up most of the day. This is another anniversary it has been 4 years since Joyce’s illness and it seems only like yesterday she has come along way it certain areas by leaps and bounds and it some areas not so much but we continue to provide the care for Joyce to allow her to keep moving forward no matter how fast or slow it may be.

August 7 – Day 1426

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise and we have started getting the new caregiver situated. The girls I had had issues with a family member that had medical problems. So I had to stay home 2 days to get a new one trained. Getting all my caregivers in place so all the shifts can be covered. Joyce has been doing good with all the chaos around the house. Joyce has been sleeping well without any issues.

August 3 – Day 1422

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise and her day caregiver called me last night and her only babysitter she had quit and she cannot work any longer until her children go back to school which is 3 weeks. So fortunately the other lady I had trained was able to fill in that shift. Joyce had a good night and did not have any issues.

July 31 – Day 1421

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise and she was very alert with her new caregiver. They went outside painted nails and did some activities with her speech computer. The new girl is coming along so we will see how it goes with her. Joyce slept well all through the night without any issues and my night girl should be back tomorrow.

July 30 – Day 1420

Joyce had a good week. Joyce did all of her exercise and she got a little emotional with her new caregiver don’t know why she was said about something. Caregiver asked her if she was hurt she said no just had a bad day. The new girl is learning the routine and we will she how she adapts to the routine. Joyce slept well through the night and di not have any issues.

July 29 – Day 1419

Joyce had a good weekend. Joyce did all of her exercise but got very sleepy Sunday sleep a lot. Trained both new caregivers Sunday one will start Monday and the other is not a good fit for Joyce. Morgan helped with coloring Joyce’s hair Sunday it looks great she was a lot of help. Joyce slept well at night and did not have any issues.

July 26 – Day 1416

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise and 2 of the caregivers will come in for training Saturday. Joyce was taking a god nap today and when she went to bed she slept well all through the night without any issues.

July 25 – Day 1415

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise and Joyce stayed up most of the day she is just so intrigued by shark week she doesn’t want to take a nap and miss something. Finishing last interviews and will make a decision about my new day caregiver. Joyce slept well but had a bad cough about 230 AM after I cleared her congestion she was fine but her broken sleep she will be tired tomorrow.

July 24 – Day 1414

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise and her nighttime caregiver is doing well so far trying to learn the nighttime routine and she should be a good caregiver for Joyce. Joyce was up all day watching shark week. She slept through the night without any issues.
