June 30 – Day 689

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did well with all her exercises but with her allergies she has a lot of flem and she coughed so hard during the evening she threw up some of her shake. After that she was fine the rest of the evening. Her night was restless only when she had to cough then she went back to sleep but it caused her to have broken sleep most of the night.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

June 29 – Day 688

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did her exercises and was up most of the morning. They have discharged her from home health therapy so we are just waiting for the order to start outpatient therapy. I tried to keep my mood up but very difficult being Michelle’s birthday miss her dearly. But put on that happy face for Joyce so i will not upset her because it serves no purpose to make her aware what significance the day has on our family. her night was good with no issues.

June 28 – Day 687

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises with her caregiver and with Justina. when I came home Joyce was tired so she took a nap until bedtime. Her night was good and she had no issues all through the night. Using her bed pillow in her chair is helping and not pushing her head forward as the chair cushion does.

June 27 – Day 686

Joyce had a good day. We are still constantly doing all her exercises including speech until we get our outpatient appointments. Her caregiver said she had a very restful day and she took naps her and there throughout the day. We watched a little TV during the evening. She had a restful night with no issues.

June 26 – Day 685

Joyce had a good weekend. She did all her exercises and we are still waiting for confirmation from her doctor to begin outpatient therapy. It was a relaxing weekend Joyce had no issues and her mood was very happy. She watched TV and the comedies made her laugh very hard. Her nights were restful and had no issues sleeping well throughout the night.

June 23 – Day 682

Joyce had a good day. She did all her exercises and her caregiver said she took a little nap but other than that she was awake and alert. No word yet about her therapy but the outpatient I think will be the best option for Joyce. She watched TV through the evening and was laughing at her shows. She slept well though the night with no issues.

June 22 – Day 681

Joyce had a good day. her caregiver and Justina did her exercises with her and she did well. Joyce enjoyed sitting up with Justina and they had a good day together. Joyce slept well without any isuues through the night. Other than that it was a usual day for her that was positive.

June 21 – Day 680

Joyce had a good day. She did all her exercises and I have contacted the doctor to write orders for Joyce to have outpatient therapy. She sat up in her chair for Justina and watched TV with no issues. She slept well all through the night without any problems or concerns.

June 20 – Day 679

Joyce had a good day. Her caregiver said she did all her morning exercises but then she slept the rest of the day. She also took a nap when I came home for about a couple or hours. She was in a very good mood and did not have any issues. No therapy came and I am looking into doing outpatient with her. Since Justina is on weekend she would be able to take Joyce and I also talked to her caregiver and she had no problem with taking Joyce to her therapy also.

June 19 – Day 678

Joyce had a good weekend. Joyce did all her exercises and no issues this weekend. Joyce wished me a happy Fathers day which was nice, We both rested on fathers Day with no issues and I told her that was a great gift it was calm and relaxing and she gave me that beautiful smile that only Joyce can give. She slept well with no issues or problems at all. Justina came by and suprised me a pizza and some cupcakes wonderful suprise.
