September 17 – Day 1119
Joyce had a great weekend. Our weekend caregiver had a family emergency so it was me and Joyce this weekend. Joyce was extremely tired she slept all day on Saturday and on Sunday we went out had some errands to do and took the dog for her nail grinding Joyce was glad to get out of the house and get some fresh air. Joyce has been sleeping well except one time during the night she is waking up with a cough. We will be taking her to get a chest x-ray tomorrow.

September 14 – Day 1118
Joyce had a great day. Joyce and both her caregivers are really starting to develop good relationships I am glad we finally a great staff for Joyce. They completed all her exercises even though she wanted to take many naps. The caregivers said they had very productive days with Joyce. Joyce slept well without any issues to report just her usual coughing around 2AM.

September 13 – Day 1117
Joyce had a great day. Joyce was very tired from the night before and slept all day. The caregivers did ROM exercises and she was in such a deep sleep the day caregiver was a little worried and she called me. But I assured her Joyce was fine and her being a RN she took all her vitals to set her mind at ease. She slept well through the night and woke up only once so she got the rest she needed.

September 12 – Day 1116
Joyce had a great day. Joyce had a good day but very busy she had her chiro and speech appointments today her morning caregiver went with her with Justina. Joyce did well but when they went to her speech appointment she was tired and she told her caregiver she wanted to go. She thought she meant to the bathroom she said no I wanna go home and take a nap her caregiver got a kick out of that. Her night was very restless Joyce was coughing all through the night so I will call her doctor to make an appointment.

September 11 – Day 1119

Joyce had a great day. her new caregivers are great and Joyce is responding well to her. Day time caregiver talked to Joyce and we have some issues that I will address with my current caregivers. Transfers are good they are having no issues and the daytime caregiver is a RN so she needs minimal training which is good. Joyce slept well throughout the night with no issues.

September 10 – Day 1118

Joyce had a great weekend. her weekend caregiver takes such care and time with Joyce she is wonderful with Joyce. She also trained my afternoon caregiver that will be starting tomorrow. Joyce has a little chest cold but we are allowing the medication handle that for her. She slept a lot on Saturday but was up most of the day on Sunday with Christy her caregiver. Her night was fine and she slept well all through the night.

September 7 – Day 1115

Joyce had a great day. We had a little drama yesterday. Joyce caregiver is diabetic and she had a episode. So I had to come she was in bad shape had to call the ambulance for her and they took her in. Talked to her yesterday evening and she is doing fine but staying overnight. Had her new caregiver come she is a RN who wants to get in home health and she did absolutely wonderful with Joyce. She will be a awesome addition to Joyce care staff. Since I had to come home I trained her and she picked things up very quickly so I went through the whole routine and we accomplished everything.

September 5 – Day 1113

Joyce had a great day. She did her exercises the caregivers will come tomorrow to sign the paperwork and hopefully we can get this going soon. Joyce had her speech appointment yesterday and it went well. She rested after her appointment until bedtime. She slept well all through the night with no issues.

September 4 – Day 1112

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce was up all day Saturday with her caregiver they had a good day doing exercises and activities. On Sunday Joyce slept all day was tired fro day before and she slept throughout the day on Monday. Stephanie will be coming next weekend instead of holiday was trying to avoid any bad storms. Joyce slept well at night and had no issues.

August 31 – Day 1108

Joyce had a great day. She did her exercises and I am finalizing the new caregivers for Joyce. Both these ladies are RN so I am looking forward to having them take care of Joyce. Joyce slept for me when I got home until her bedtime. She slept well tonight she was asleep before I could finish her medicine. She was very tired.
