June 8 – Day 1027

Joyce had a good day. Joyce continues with her exercises. Good news the new agency will start next Thursday. So now I am interviewing for the night and weekend shift and have some good prospects so far. Joyce seems to be adjusting well since Wendy has left due to personal problems. Joyce slept well last night and she had some restful sleep.

June 7 – Day 1026

Joyce had a good day. Sorry for no posts the last couple was out of town training. Again Justina came to the re4scue to stay with Joyce so I could travel to Virginia. The new girl I have to be temporary is doing okay with Joyce little tweaks here and there. Told Joyce about Virginia where we were stationed at one time how it has changed in the last 20 years. Told about the park we use to take the girls and the schools they went to that was one of the best times in our life it was very difficult and emotional for both of us.

June 4 – Day 1023

Joyce had a good weekend. She did her exercises. My caregiver that has been with Joyce over a year and a half contacted me Sunday that she is in Maryland and not coming back due to martial issues. We will see how Joyce reacts to Wendy being gone because she was very close to her. So now I have no caregivers at all I am really stressed out so it is back to finding a agency. This has really taking a toll on me I am trying to handle this without having issues with my job.

June 1 – Day 1022

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises. The afternoon caregiver did not show up and I had to leave work. I need to find caregivers because my job is not going to let me leave everyday when they don’t show up. If anybody knows of caregivers please have them contact me. Joyce slept well through the night and had no issues unlike me worrying all night if I can find these caregivers for Joyce.

May 31 – Day 1021

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises. Still trying to get caregivers have one coming tomorrow for training hopefully that will work out. Joyce’s social worker is being very helpful so as we don’t lose these benefits. We have gone past the cutoff date but she assured me she knows it wasn’t anything that we could control. Joyce slept well through the night with no issues at all.

May 30 – Day 1020

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises. Had everything in place for the CAP program and for the new caregivers to sign their pay information and one decided not to do it the other cant get a hold so we are back to square one the social worker cant believe we are having such trouble. Other than that Joyce slept well and my stress is at a new level.

May 29 – Day 1019

Joyce had a good weekend. Joyce did all of her exercises. Justina went out of town this weekend so Joyce and me went out Sunday and did our errands. On Monday Justina came by and we took Joyce out for a little shopping she enjoyed getting out of the house. Still going round and round to find caregivers this is such a headache you cannot imagine. Joyce had good nights and slept well without any issues.

May 25 – Day 1015

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises. She a good morning and afternoon. She was awake all until bedtime. Had some promising caregivers interview last night so we will see how that goes. Her night was good had a little coughing around midnight but Joyce went right back to sleep without any issues.

May 24 – Day 1014

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did her exercises but slept in the afternoon. The caregiver did not want to wake her and I told her if it is time for her to go to the bathroom you need to wake her up. When I got home she was ready to go to the bathroom. Have some ladies coming tomorrow for interviews hopefully they will turn out good. Joyce slept well through the night and did not have any issues.

May 23 – Day 1013

Joyce had a good day. Joyce slept the morning so exercises were restricted to range of motion. Went to her speech appointment they have 2 devices Joyce can use for her communication they are going to do a 30 day trial on both and see which one she responds to better. Her night was calm and she slept with no issues at all to report. Still searching for caregivers.
