January 31 – Day 903

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and we have one more day with the present agency hopefully the other agency will be ready by the end of the week. Joyce slept a little in the morning but was alert in the afternoon all the way into the afternoon. She slept well through the night with no issues to report at this time.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

January 30 – Day 902

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises she is doing well in her chair the afternoon caregiver is still using the old one she said she is not sure how it operates they wont be with us to much longer which I cant wait to replace this agency. Joyce’s cough is getting better and she has one more dose for her medicine. She is sleeping well through the night with no issues.

January 29 Day 901

Joyce had a great weekend. Joyce did her exercises and she is enjoying her new chair she is still trying to get use to the headrest but that will come in time. We are battling this chest congestion and it is causing a little of coughing. Joyce took a more naps this weekend don’t know if the medication is causing her to be tired. Her night even though she is coughing is very good she may cough a little until she falls asleep but then it is a restful night of sleep.

January 25 – Day 897

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and they brought her new wheel chair and I think it is going to be good for her. It is so much more comfortable for her when it was made to fit her body instead of just one size fits all chair. Joyce has got a lot of congestion I will have the doctor listen to her chest to se if she has congestion that will need some medication. Joyce slept well but I can tell it was restless in the morning. She also got her haircut and hair colored.

January 24 – Day 896

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and she is getting better from the dentist. Got her a new toothbrush with a smaller round head and she said it is a lot better and her mouth doesn’t hurt. She slept very well during the night she didn’t wake up once and had a night restful sleep.

January 23 – Day 895

Joyce had a busy day. Joyce had her dentist appointment today and she had a hard with the cleaning she was in some pain after it. She slept most of the day and we gave her Tylenol for the pain. She said her mouth hurt after the cleaning. She watched TV later in the afternoon which was comedy so Joyce was laughing did that to keep her mind off her pain in her mouth. She slept well and had no issues through the night.

January 22 – Day 894

Joyce had a weekend. Joyce continues with her exercises but other than that nothing unusual to report. The weekend was calm Joyce was very alert and watched TV and she was laughing hard on some of her shows. Not much coughing this weekend and her nights have been very peaceful she is getting plenty of rest which she needs to be alert and awake to complete her physical and speech therapy exercises.

January 18 – Day 890

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was felling good today laughing and talking. The caregivers said her range of motion was great she did very well. I asked what channel a specific station was on and Joyce told it is 24. It was so uplifting to see Joyce very alert and engaging I love these days when she is performing well. She slept well all through the night no issues.

January 17 – Day 889

Joyce had a good day. Morning and afternoon caregivers are doing a set of the exercises with Joyce. Got a call from the new agency and they told me they would have a answer for me tomorrow if they will be able to satisfy Joyce needs with their staff hopefully everything will work out. Her night was good with a restful sleep took a while for her to go to sleep.
