December 21 – Day 863

Joyce had a very good day in the morning. The afternoon was traumatic for her. when her caregiver was taking to the bathroom after she was cleaning her up and Joyce slipped off the seat and on the way down to the floor her headband that she was weaning dug into to her head so it was like a road rash. So the caregiver called 911 so the paramedics came and checked her out and he said it is just a scrap but the head is very venous so it bleeds easily otherwise Joyce is fine with no issues. My day caregiver came to help get Joyce off the floor until the showed up. Also Joyce has developed a rash so i have given detailed instructions to my caregivers to take care of it. This agency is not up to the standards I need for Joyce talking to other agencies right now. Joyce slept well gave her some Tylenol for pain and she had no issues all through the night.
