October 19 – Day 800

Joyce had a great day. After all the stress of trying to get to Greenville for Joyce’s appointment with all the roads that were closed from the hurricane. Joyce was alert smiling shook the doctors hands and was happy all day and was talking she had a wonderful day and night with issues at all. the doctor confirmed she needed the wheel chair with all its extras. We had conclude at this point a motorized was needed but in the future might be a possibility. …Also the medical equipment company confirmed that the insurance hey will be covering Joyce’s new suction machine. Now we have to see the physical therapist so they can take exact measurements for the chair because it is built from the ground up. I made aware to the doctor this has to be done before the end of the year that way the insurance will cover 100% of the cost.
