September 15 – Day 766

Joyce had a great morning. But she was not feeling well and that where it ended. She went to therapy and she threw up everything so that was cut short because she was feeling ill she told her caregiver so she came home. We went to her neurologist and she got her Botox treatments in her calf muscles to relax them to bring her heels down and she did great. Thought there would be a problem her laying on her stomach she kind of enjoyed it. But I could tell …she was not feeling well so off to the ER got the about 4PM and got home at 9PM a typical ER visit. But I had them check everything they did chest x-ray, blood analysis, check her peg tube, and talk about her bathroom visits. Everything came back great the doctor said no infections, kidneys are functioning well. But the chest x-ray would determine if she would be going home or be admitted. He did not see anything on the x-ray but he still wants to treat it as pneumonia because he said sometimes it doesn’t show up. We were all exhausted after that and Joyce went right to sleep and slept well all night. She had a little fever this morning but I instructed her caregiver to give her some Tylenol.
