August 20 – Day 1436

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and the medicine is working wonders barely any coughing and Joyce is resting and recuperating nicely. Joyce was tired from the days activities and when I went to give her the 11PM shake she was asleep so she slept the whole night through without any breaks in her sleep.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

August 19 – Day 1435

Joyce had a difficult weekend.. Joyce did all of her exercises but she developed a bad cough where she coughed up blood so we went to the emergency room to make sure it wasn’t something serious. After being there 4 hours she had bronchitis and the blood came from irritating her lungs from coughing very hard. Blood and chest tests were all normal. They gave antibiotics and she did good the rest of the weekend. Joyce slept well through the night and most of Saturday which was expected for being up so late at the hospital.

August 16 – Day 1432

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and Joyce’s coughing seems to be getting better. Started our new night person with her training and we will see how she does I think she will work out. Joyce slept well through the night without any issues.

August 15 – Day 1431

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises but she was coughing a lot so I gave her some Tussin to help with that. Did 2 interviews 1 lady was okay and could use her but the other was great and I think she will do good on the evening and tomorrow I have a lady coming interested in the weekend shift. Joyce had a little coughing at bedtime but she was good through the night.

August 14 – Day 1430

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises but she was coughing a lot so I gave her some Tussin to help with that. Did 2 interviews 1 lady was okay and could use her but the other was great and I think she will do good on the evening and tomorrow I have a lady coming interested in the weekend shift. Joyce had a little coughing at bedtime but she was good through the night.

August 13 – Day 1429

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and she had a restful day she was very tired from the weekend and slept most of the day. Talked to a couple of new caregiver will be coming tomorrow for interviews. Joyce slept well through the night without any issues.

August 12 – Day 1431

Joyce had a good weekend and did all of her exercises. We traveled this weekend and Justina found her wedding dress. Joyce had a good time watching Justina trying on all of the dresses. It was a long day and on Sunday Justina came and stayed with Joyce while I ran errands and she was wide awake talking to Justina and then she got tired and slept most of the day. Her nights have been good sleeping very restful though the night.

August 9 – Day 1428

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise with her day caregiver the night caregiver decided she couldn’t do the 4-12 shift because she has children so the search continues for a 4-12 caregiver and a weekend caregiver. have a girl coming Sunday for an interview. Joyce slept well through the night without any issues.

August 8 – Day 1427

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises and her nighttime caregiver started her training she is doing very well just a little shaky with transfers which we will work on. Joyce was up most of the day. This is another anniversary it has been 4 years since Joyce’s illness and it seems only like yesterday she has come along way it certain areas by leaps and bounds and it some areas not so much but we continue to provide the care for Joyce to allow her to keep moving forward no matter how fast or slow it may be.

August 7 – Day 1426

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercise and we have started getting the new caregiver situated. The girls I had had issues with a family member that had medical problems. So I had to stay home 2 days to get a new one trained. Getting all my caregivers in place so all the shifts can be covered. Joyce has been doing good with all the chaos around the house. Joyce has been sleeping well without any issues.
