April 18 – Day 3045

Joyce had a good day. Nothing new to report today in the way of her health although her oxygen level dropped after her breathing treatment which loosen some up and they had to suction a whole and it happenned right nurse changeover it figures. Loooks like Wedsnesday next week. With new equipment company and new home health company. I have startedmy exercises at home lot of pain.

April 17 – Day 3044

Joyce had a good day. Nothing new to report todasy. Joyce had a good day we are still waiting finalization for her discharge. I had physical therapy today for the first time just a bunch of paperwork and exercises I should be doing daily.

Day 3043 – April 16

Joyce had a good day. Joyce slept most of the day and woke up a couple times. They changed company for her supplies other one coulknt get what we needed. Waiting on home health to complete everything so Joyce can come home.

April 15 – Day 3042

Joyce had a good day. Joyce slept most of the day but woke up a few times during the day. Discharge Planner was out today but they are assuring me they have everything ordered. Her regular discharge planner will be back tommorow. So hopefully tommorow or Wednesday we will be home. called doctor because of rash from surgery we have prescriptions on the way.

April 14 – Day 3041

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was up all night so she slept all day. Joyce is doing very well. The doctor said he hates to see her go on one hand but on the other hand hes glad she can go home. He said as long as all the supplies are delivered tommorow she will go home Tuesday.

April 13 – Day 3040

Joyce had a good day. Joyce slept comfortably the entire day with no issues stats were perfect all day long. The catheter was removed today so things are moving forward. My pain is getting more intense caregiver is helping out alot.

April – Day 3089

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was awake most of the day had a smile on her face most of the day. Joyce had a very comfortable day. Her catheter is having no problems will go in about 2 weeks to replace with permanent device. Other than that, no problems. My shoulder is a little sorer today than usual. Finalizing home equipment.

April 10 – Day 3087

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was awake most of the day had a smile on her face most of the day. Talked with ther doctor and tommorow Joyce will have her procedure to aid her with going to the bathroom. The discharge planner is working on home equipment which should be ready by Friday.

April 9 – Day 3086

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was awake most of the day had a smile on her face most of the day. talked to doctor and they are going to put a permanent catheter Thursday and she would be available to go home Friday but I decided and the doctor agreed to keep her through the weekend and a possible discharge Monday. This way we can run through the antibiotics in case something comes up as far as a possible infection.

April 7 – Day 3084

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was awake most of the day.Her stats were good all day so she is doing good. There are getting her on the bedside commode every 3 hours to see if she can void herself. Nothing but she having bowel movements. Well while Joce was in the ICU I had to go to the E.R. My back was in such intense pain when it spasmed I was screaming and it almost took me to my knees. So the gave me a lydocaine patch, a shot which was a high grade tylenol,
