December 14 – Day 1205

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises later in the day because we went to the dr for her leg braces she wears at night so we are trying a new one for a couple of days> I feel that they need to mold the boot to fit her foot because the left foot by morning is off and twisted on her foot so we we see how this goes. Joyce had a good night with no issues and slept without waking during the night.

December 12 – Day 1204

Joyce had a great day. Joyce has been doing good with her exercises.PT came today and everything went fine. The new caregiver is doing well with her we have a few things we correct when they come up but they are minor. Joyce slept well till about 3 AM and she coughed so hard she threw up but I changed and cleaned her up and she went right back to bed with no issues and slept the rest of the night.

December 11 – Day 1204
Joyce had a great day. the new caregiver is working out fine so far. I will give her a couple of weeks to see if she has the right bond with Joyce so far so good. Her night was good she slept a lot during the day and she had a good night’s sleep without any issues.

December 10 – Day 1203
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and I trained the new daytime caregiver and she has had experience and worked at the hospital she caught on very quickly I think she will do fine so we will see how it goes not a good history with these caregivers. Joyce had a little coughing we gave Tussin and she slept though the night and rested well.

December 7 – Day 1199
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and I trained the new daytime caregiver and she has had experience and worked at the hospital she caught on very quickly I think she will do fine so we will see how it goes not a good history with these caregivers. Joyce had a little coughing we gave Tussin and she slept though the night and rested well.

December 5 – Day 1197
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and she great therapy with the physical and occupational therapist they said she did absolutely great. This morning caregiver had her talking and they make her answer instead of head motions. She had a big smile on her face and said hello when I came home. The morning caregiver and Joyce made pasta and she helped Joyce but she said Joyce did all of the work and she had the biggest smile on her face. Her night was good and she had no issues sleeping through the night.

December 4 – Day 1196

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and I stayed home with Joyce. Her caregiver was sick, Justina was taking Joyce to chiro and she was sick and her night caregiver came in late had to deal with her insurance what a day. Joyce did well took some naps and she was up the rest of the evening. Joyce slept well through the night with only a couple of coughing episodes,

November 30 -Day 1192
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and OT came yesterday and Joyce is doing great wants to use TRX type system for Joyce. Joyce had a good night she coughed once around midnight but then slept all through the night which is good because she got to rest. Other than that nothing else to report.

November 29 – Day 1191
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and I had Joyce’s hairdresser come to the house she colored and cut Joyce’s hair she had a good time with Stephanie from fantastic sams. Then Emily the housekeeper came by and Joyce was glad to see her she is always friendly and talks to Joyce. Joyce had a good night and slept well she was up at 6 but it seemed she had a goods night sleep.

November 28 – Day 1190
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises and did well when occupational therapy came but after that she was extremely tired from not getting much sleep due to her congestion. Put ads out for the new caregiver so we will see if we can get someone to take care of the morning shift. Joyce was wide awake this morning but we will see how the day goes.
