February 22 – Day 924
Joyce had a day. She was very tired today and slept all day for the caregivers they did passive exercises with her for ROM. Her night was great she slept well and had no issues to report at this time. The da and night was uneventful since Joyce rested all day.

February 21 – Day 923
Joyce had a day. She was wide awake all day till bedtime and they did all of her exercises and her afternoon caregiver is working out great her and Joyce are working good together. Interviewed a new nighttime caregiver she seemed pretty good have to check her references. Joyce had some dry coughing during the night but other than that she slept well through the night.

February 20 – Day 922
Joyce had a weekend. Her exercises continue twice a day and when she has built up enough endurance we may increase repetitions or add another set. Her appointment Monday went fine from her internal monitor removal. Her nights are good but she was really tired Monday night from travelling to Wilmington. Will start interviewing fro new nighttime caregiver so we will see what happens.

February 16 – Day 918
Joyce had a good day. Joyce and her new caregiver are doing very well together. The agency called me today and have fully staffed Joyce for all the hours requested which is great. Her exercise are being done twice with consistency now. Still running a slight fever but we go to the doctor Monday for her wound check and if it still exists I will inform the doctor. She had a good night with no issues and slept very well.

February 15 – Day 917
Joyce had a good day. Joyce had her first day with her new afternoon caregiver and she did great with Joyce there we no problems and Joyce seems to be a good fit with which is an important factor when selecting these caregivers. Joyce did all of her exercises with the caregiver she did have any issues as I called her during her shift and everything seems to be going smooth. Joyce slept well through the night without any issues.

February 14 – Day 916
Joyce had a good day. Joyce had a full house today with the clinical nurse from the new agency and our new caregiver she stayed all day with Wendy and she said she did very well. We will see tomorrow as it will be her first day with Joyce. Joyce stayed awake all day but she slept well all through the night with no issues. Wendy went through the exercises with our new caregiver. We had a nice Valentines day and I gave Joyce her card and she enjoyed it.

February 13 – Day 915
Joyce had a good day. She did most of her exercises but she slept all day she was extremely tired and she rested. My afternoon caregiver called in sick again I am in the process of finding a new girl for those hours she has become non dependable. Her night was good even though she slept all day she went right to sleep and slept all night without any issues.

February 12 – Day 914
Joyce had a good weekend. Still recovering from her surgery she just wanted to rest this weekend was not feeling well. It was nice outside and asked Joyce if she wanted to go for a walk in the neighborhood in her new chair she said no she wanted to sit in her chair in the house that’s when I knew Joyce wasn’t feeling well. She has had a slight fever the last coupe of nights but Tylenol is keeping it under control. Her nights have been very good and she has slept well with no issues.
February 9 – Day 911
Joyce had a great day. We drove to Wilmington for her surgery to remove her internal heart monitor as it has reached the 3 year time frame. Joyce did great and slept all the way and rested until bedtime. It was a full day for us did not come back until 4 PM. So this is one thing we don’t have to worry about anymore. She slept well all though the night with no issues at all to report.

February 7 – Day 910
Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises with the day and afternoon caregivers. She was awake the whole day and did not take a nap at all so I knew she would sleep well through the night. She has been doing a lot of the coughing later in the evening but nothing that keeps her up at night. She slept all night with just a coughing episode around midnight but she got control and went right back to sleep.
