April 12 – Day 973

Joyce had a good day. Exercises went very well today in the morning. The afternoon caregiver did not fair as well Joyce slept most of the afternoon she was very tired. Her evening was good and she had no issues sleeping the rest of the night. Her day caregiver said she was a little mood and was rolling her eyes at her I can see Joyce doing that she just wanted to rest.

April 11 – Day 972

Joyce had a good day. Exercises were completed and Joyce had a good day. She was awake most of the day taking short naps here and there. Her night was good no issues she slept all through the night without any issues to report. Started Joyce on her medicine for her congestion.

April 10 – Day 971

Joyce had a good day. Shed did her exercises and then we went to her dr. appointment to update her clinical notes for Medicare for her new equipment. Joyce did very well no issues and when she came home she was tired from her road trip so she slept until about 7. The dr prescribed some medication for her congestion. Her night was good she slept well with no issues through the night.

April 9 – Day 970

Joyce had a good weekend. She did all of her exercises. Saturday night Joyce was up till about 3 AM with coughing. So Sunday she slept all day which I figured because she was tired from the night before. Other than that she had a good night and the rest of the weekend had no other issues. Joyce has her doctor appointment Monday to take care of her new equipment.

April 6 – Day 967

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did her exercise the baclofen is working great suggestion by Justina. Joyce slept most of the afternoon and did not do much of coughing she had a good day with that. her night was good except for her usual coughing spell but other than that she slept well.

April 5 – Day 966

Joyce had a good day. Joyce was very alert and did all of her exercises. have a few things to correct with my nigh time caregiver filling in the afternoon slot. She is doing good just some tweaks so she is on board with Joyce’s routine. Her night was good she had a coughing episode at midnight but after that she slept without issues the rest of the night.

April 4 – Day 965

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did most of her exercises, the afternoon caregiver did passive ones with her since she was very tired. She did not sleep well the night before. She was coughing a lot during the night. It seems after I give her some Tussin she has a good day the next day. The baclofen is working great Wendy said she notices the difference when she does her exercises with her.

April 3 – Day 964

Joyce had a good day. Joyce did her exercises gave her baclofen this morning and caregiver said it really helped with relaxing the muscles. So we will see how it goes the rest of the week. She slept a lot today after doing her exercises she would go right back to sleep. Her night was a little restless but after midnight she settled down and got some rest during the rest of the night.

April 2 – Day 963

Joyce had a weekend. Joyce continues to do her exercise and she had a very good weekend. Unfortunately the agency I have called me Friday morning and basically said we quit. So now I have to start all over again and try to staff the hours that I need. Through her program I thought a agency would be more helpful but I am now going to hire people myself and they will be paid through the program. Her night were good with no issues to report last night had a little coughing spell so don’t know how much sleep she got last night but she was wide awake this morning when the caregiver arrived.

March 30 – Day 960

Joyce had a great day. Joyce did her exercises but then slept most of the day. My night caregiver had to come in because my afternoon caregiver called out sick. Joyce slept until bedtime and she slept well though the night I gave her some Tussin again if her congestion doesn’t clear up I will have to take her to the doctor. Had a little episode for myself today came home not feeling well chest was thumping hands were shaky but it calmed down by 8. Have to have a contingency for scenarios like this so if something happens we have a backup plan.
