July 24 – Day 1073
Joyce had a good day. Joyce did all of her exercises. She took a long nap during the day and she was up only a couple of hours before bedtime. She slept well through the night without any issues. will call doctor to get occupational therapy order so they can work on grip strength with Joyce.

Continue to pray and send positive thoughts so that things continue to progress and that God keeps putting his loving hands on Joyce to heal her.

July 23 – Day 1072

Joyce had a good weekend except for her allergies. She did all her exercise and had the new weekend girl start and by Sunday at 5PM she said she cannot do this job so that is that. But I have another girl that will start next weekend that will fit Joyce’s personality so we will se how she does. Her allergies were in full force Saturday we went through about a dozen washcloths from her saliva and her eyes were so bloodshot like she has been out all night.

July 20 – Day 1069

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises and the afternoon caregiver called out sick again so I called my night caregiver to come in fortunately so was able to do that. When I got home Joyce was napping and she had quit along nap until bedtime. She slept well all through the night without any issues.

July 19 – Day 1068

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises and the afternoon caregiver called out sick so I called my night caregiver to come in fortunately so was able to do that. Joyce was very alert she told her caregiver she didn’t want to sit in her recliner she wanted in her wheel chair to watch TV and she did that until about 730. She slept well all through the night with no issues. Starting new agency on Thursday and they have staff already hired to begin promptly.

July 18 – Day 1067

Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises but have to check with caregiver about certain exercises that Joyce should be doing everyday. Joyce was sitting in her chair watching TV when I got home until it was time to go to bed. She was laughing so hard it warms my heart to see her smiling and laughing. Her night was good no issues to report at this time.

July 17 – Day 1066
Joyce had a good day. She did her exercises and she was alert all day. Physical Therapy came today and Joyce did well with them. All the caregivers did a good job today just need them to be consistent because Joyce’s care is the most important thing. Joyce had some coughing but she slept well through the night.

July 16 – Day 1065
Joyce had a weekend. Joyce did well with her exercises. The weekday caregivers are not performing well with coming late and transferring Joyce there director said she would talk to them. We will have to see what happens, they informed me they have hired new people but Joyce’s care is important I will not sacrifice Joyce’s care for anybody. Her night was good and she slept well. Interviewed a new weekend caregiver she seems that she may be a good fit for Joyce

July 13 – Day 1062

Joyce had a day. All exercises have been completed. Joyce had a real good day nd did not have any problems with coughing like she had the day before. Joyce’s new glasses are so that will help her to see when she is watching TV. We will be trying a new girl this weekend I think she will work out but we will see how she does with transferring. Her night was good she went right to sleep and had no issues all through the night.

July 12 – Day 1060

Joyce had a day. All exercises have been completed. The agency is still trying to get a staff so if one is out they can be replaced. The agency has hired some people its just getting them through there training. Joyce slept well through the night and had no issues. But hopefully this can be resolved also interviewing new caregivers for the weekend position.
